Looking for a Church in St Ives?

We began as a small group of adults and kids in 2005 and have now grown to a congregation of around 200 adults, teens, kids and babies.

Whilst there are many families at our church, you do not need to be a family to join us. Whatever your stage and situation in life, you are most welcome.

We have a weekly crèche and an excellent kids and youth program. The school serves as a safe place to meet and offers plenty of space for our varied activities. It also provides us with the opportunity to be a positive contributor to the school community. Many church members are keenly involved as students and parents in the school.IMG_1177

If you are curious about Jesus and the Christian faith, this is a great place to learn more alongside adults, youth and kids hungry to grow. If you have just moved to the area and you are looking for a local church, we encourage you to visit us this Sunday. We’d love to meet you and help in any way we can.

WHAT CAN WE EXPECT ON A SUNDAY MORNING?

Our gatherings are relaxed in style, serious in content and warm in expression. We begin with everyone in the hall. After singing one or two songs. we get all the kids together for our Kids’ Spot. This is led by various adults and is designed to focus our attention on Jesus whilst having a bit of fun. We want our kids to know they are a really important part of our church family.

After the Kids Spot, they head off to their various groups and the adults and teens come out for morning tea. The coffee is strong and the food is excellent (and we cater for those who are gluten intolerant).

After 15 minutes, we head back into the hall to pray and listen to God’s Word read and preached.

The formal time together finishes around 11.15am – but many stick around afterwards to chat and meet new people.
