Who are we?

We are an all-ages community including both Christians and those interested in Christianity.

We meet every Sunday at 9.30am in the Hall of St Ives North Primary School (Memorial Avenue See Map).

What do we believe?

You can summarise Christian belief in just one word — Jesus. Christianity is not about rules or morality. It is about a person, Jesus Christ.

What we believe about Jesus is also simple. Jesus was sent by his Father to rescue us from the predicament that ignoring God has put us all in. Jesus has faced the judgment of God in our place. He is now alive as the Lord of all.

Being rescued changes us into people who want to live God’s way.

Two ways to live: The choice we all face

What happens on a Sunday?

The children join in the main gathering for the first part of our meeting. After 15-20 minutes they move off to age-appropriate groupsCreche, Pre-School, Infants and Primary.

At St Ives Family Church we value relationships. We want to get to know each other better. One of the ways that happens is during morning tea.We pause for a fifteen-minute morning tea break in the middle of the meeting!

The rest of our time together is dominated by hearing from God's Word, the Bible, and working out what it means for our lives today.

Hope to meet you soon,

Gavin Perkins (Pastor)
